Curriculum

At Creating Connections, we follow the Connecticut Early Learning and Development Standards (CT ELDS) to provide a robust foundation for children's learning from birth to age five. The CT ELDS outlines a developmental continuum intentionally aligned with the Common Core State Standards, ensuring a comprehensive and seamless approach to early education.

The CT ELDS encompasses multiple domains, including:

  • Science
  • Social Studies
  • Mathematics
  • Creative Arts
  • Language and Literacy
  • Social and Emotional Development
  • Cognition
  • Physical Health and Development

By adhering to these standards, we aim to optimize learning experiences and nurture each child's potential as a capable and competent learner. This approach creates a well-rounded educational environment where children can thrive and build a solid foundation for future success.

Partnering with Families

We recognize that a child's primary caregiver plays a critical role in their education. Our center values family context and culture as essential components of learning and development. We embrace diversity and provide meaningful, inclusive experiences for all children, including those with disabilities, ensuring that every child benefits from the richness of a diverse community.
